US Open 2025 final result – World number one Aryna Sabalenka retains title and lands fourth Grand Slam with a straight sets win over Amanda Anisimova

Aryna says she is speechless right now.

Anisimova takes a ride on her on rollercoaster once again, surging into a 40-15 lead but then throwing in a 10th unforced error off her backhand and a double fault to feel heat at deuce.

The American can’t get out of the game and double faults again as she struggles with her ball toss in the lights above.

It turns into a real battle but she eventually comes up trumps with an ace down the T.

Sabalenka has been the more consistent steady player so far and gets her reward as she serves out to 15 to seal a 38-minute opener.
