Stefanos Tsitsipas has parted ways with coach Goran Ivanisevic after just two months together. The Greek star said it was an "intense experience", but says he wished the Croatian "nothing but the very best moving forward". The split comes after Ivanisevic made harsh comments on Tsitsipas' fitness following the former world No. 3's first-round Wimbledon exit.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has ended his coaching partnership with Goran Ivanisevic, but says he has "only respect" for the Croatian as they go their separate ways.
The world No. 29 - who has been as high as third in the world rankings - brought Ivanisevic on board in May as he struggled for form with just two victories in his previous four Grand Slams.
However, Tsitsipas proceeded to win just once during the grass-court season and retired from his first-round match at Wimbledon due to injury.
He was two sets down against qualifier Valentin Royer when he withdrew from the men’s singles at the All England Club.
It led to a scathing review of his fitness from Ivanisevic, who said: "I’m three times fitter than him. It’s really bad."
Ivanisevic also addressed how Tsitsipas needs to sort out "certain off-court issues" if he is to push his way back into the world’s top 10.

The comments drew some criticism from figures in the game, including Tsitsipas’ former coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
He said: "Goran going to the press and criticising his player is not coaching."
In the wake of the comments, Ivanisevic revealed how his strong views had "affected" Tsitsipas, but he doubled down on his stance.
"He wasn't mentally or physically prepared at Wimbledon. Back problems, a million problems. So it's a long road, there's no magic wand, no magic tricks, you have to work," Ivanisevic added.
Taking to social media to confirm the pair’s parting, Tsitsipas wrote: "Working with Goran Ivanisevic was a brief but intense experience and a truly valuable chapter in my journey.
"I’m thankful for the time, effort, and energy he dedicated to me and my team.
"As we are now following our separate ways, I have only respect for Goran - not just for what he’s achieved in tennis, but also for who he is as a person.
"I wish him nothing but the very best moving forward."
