Carlos Moya goes into the French Open, which begins on 24 May, with confidence, insisting he is a better player than when he won at Roland Garros in 1998. "I didn't win the French Open again but if you look at my match record now you will see that it is better than what it was in 1997 or 1998," he said.

"I think I'm a better player than I was a few years ago," the world number five said.
Moya has won three titles this year including the Rome Masters, with his seventh defeat in 43 matches coming last week in Hamburg.
The former world number one tips Roger Federer, Guillermo Coria and defending champion Juan Carlos Ferrero for the title in Paris.
Despite his own fine form this year, he was coy about his chances.
"I'll arrive in Paris knowing that I've had good results on clay and I'm capable of playing really well," he said.
"We'll see what happens."
