"There are 128 players registered for this event who will be giving it all and I am only one of them. If I don't win there will be other years when I get a chance to try again."
The Mallorcan, who turns 19 during the claycourt grand slam, comes into the event on a 17-match winning streak and is regarded one of the favourites for the final.
Having finished last year with an ATP Tour ranking of 51 he is now firmly established in the top 10 and has won his last three tournaments: the Monte Carlo Masters, the Barcelona Open, and the Rome Masters.
