There has been an 80% increase in early ticket sales on the 2003 tournament and since the ticket office opened on 2 February, 1,100 tickets have been sold.
This means, world number 13 Paradorn Srichaphan, who has made a commitment to this year's tournament, may find he has plenty of elite company.
Patrick Hughesman, the Nottingham open tournament director, is delighted at the early demand.
"Whilst there is a long way to go in order to surpass last year's ticket sales, it is very encouraging that the public has responded so quickly.
"Everyone involved in this ATP Tour event is working exceedingly hard to ensure that the 10th anniversary of the tournament is going to be a fantastic week of entertainment."
Andy Roddick, Younes El Aynaoui, Pat Rafter and Tim Henman have prepared at the Nottingham Tennis Centre for Wimbledon in past years.
The 32-draw tournament will compete for a total prize fund of $380,000.
