World number one Roger Federer will be wary of the threat Richard Gasquet poses when he meets the Frenchman in Indian Wells on Wednesday. Gasquet was one of only four men to beat Federer in 2005 - in the quarter-finals in Monte Carlo - and will be looking

Federer avenged that 6-7 6-2 7-6 defeat with a straight sets victory over Gasquet in Hamburg, and sees himself as the favourite on Wednesday.
"Both games at Monte Carlo and Hamburg (on clay) were great games," said the world number one.
"Now we're going to play on hard court and I would say I'm the favourite now."
Gasquet is back in form after a torrid return from an elbow injury, where he lost to Tim Henman before a stunning five-set victory over Germany's Tommy Haas in the Davis Cup.
And the French number one looked in impressive form with a comfortable win over Dominik Hrbaty in the last round, something Federer hopes Gasquet will not bring into their clash.
"He's got the potential to play well on all surfaces, it'll be an interesting game," said the Swiss.
"He hasn't reached his full potential so far this year and I hope this isn't the tournament where he realises it."
