French Open 2017: Milos Raonic and Aljaz Bedene through to French Open second round

Canada's Milos Raonic is into the second round of the 2017 French Open, and Britain's Aljaz Bedene defeated Ryan Harrison.

Fifth Milos Raonic had an easy start to his tournament when he secured a straight-sets victory over Darcis, making his way into the second round 6-3 6-4 6-2.

Roberto Bautistia Agut, seeded 17th, defeated John Millman 2-1, winning 6-2 6-2 0-6 6-1.
Britain's Aljaz Bedene continued his good run of form with victory over Ryan Harrison in the opening round of the French Open.

From 3-4 down in the first set, the British number three won nine games in a row and, although he dropped the third, he raced through the fourth to win 6-4 6-0 3-6 6-1.
The British player, who reached the third round here 12 months ago, was coming out on top of the vast majority of long rallies, pulling his opponent all around the court.
His 12th ace on his third match point clinched victory and a second-round date with Czech Jiri Vesely.
Seventh-seeded Marin Cilic defeated Latvian Ernests Gulbis 6-3 6-3 6-3.
Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal both enjoyed relatively straightforward straight-set victoriies, over Marcel Granollers and Benoit Paire respectively.
After being denied a wildcard into his last French Open, Paul-Henri Mathieu pushed his body through three-rounds of qualifying but on Monday he could do no more and bowed out after a 6-2 6-2 6-2 first round loss to David Goffin.
