“Playing Great Britain in the nation’s capital during the Canada 150 celebration year presented a perfect opportunity and we could not be more excited about it.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with the City of Ottawa, Province of Ontario, Government of Canada and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) to make this event a huge success for the team and the many tennis fans in Ottawa who have been eager to see this event live.”
The matches will be played on hard court, the press release added.
The winner of the tie will move on to the World Group quarter-finals, and be guaranteed a spot in the following year's World Group.
