Last week, Dent upset top-ranked Juan Carlos Ferrero to win the Thailand Open. His incredible form has allowed him to extend his indoor winning streak to 19.
In a surprise unseeded final, American Taylor Dent was the stronger one as Sargsian, who was playing in his first ATP final in six years, lacked the speed and concentration to outwit Dent's powerful game.
The American made the difference in the match thanks to his powerful serve. Dent produced a total of 61 aces throughout the tournamnet that enabled him to grasp 133,000 dollars in prize money.
