The groups are set for the ATP Finals in Turin this weekend and the world’s top two players, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, headline either group.
World No. 1 Djokovic has been drawn in the Green Group, while the chasing Alcaraz has a spot in the Red Group, with the pair poised to meet in the latter stages.
Djokovic is the defending champion and has won the year-end tournament six times.
He will be chasing a seventh title to confirm his status as the top-ranked player heading into the new year - the eighth time he would do so - but he faces a tricky field in what could be the most competitive edition of the tournament yet.
Joining Djokovic in the Green Group is China Open and Vienna Open champion Jannik Sinner - who is also the home favourite - as well as Stefanos Tsitsipas and Holger Rune.
World No. 3 and US Open runner-up Daniil Medvedev has been grouped with Alcaraz in the Red Group, as well as Shanghai Masters finalist Andrey Rublev and German Alexander Zverev.
In the doubles discipline, top seeds Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek will compete in the Green Group alongside Santiago Gonzalez and Edouard Roger-Vasselin, Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, and Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni.
The Red Group consists of second-seed pairing Wesley Koolhof and Britain’s Neal Skupski, while Skupski will face compatriot Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram.
Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden, and Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler are also in the Red Group.
The tournament takes place from Sunday, November 12 and runs for a week until Sunday, November 19.
