Ronnie O’Sullivan will take on Anthony McGill in the opening round of the UK Championship, while there will be a repeat of last year's final to kick off the event.
Seven-time UK Championship winner O'Sullivan is seeking a first ranking title of 2023, and a trip to the Barbican in York will be one of his final chances of the year to secure a piece of silverware.
O’Sullivan won the Shanghai Masters - a non-ranking event - earlier in the year and will look to draw on that kind of form when he takes on McGill on November 28.
Mark Allen is the defending champion and he will open the tournament against Ding Junhui in a repeat of last year’s final on November 25.
Judd Trump will arrive in York in sparkling form, having reeled off three tournaments on the spin at the English Open, Wuhan Open and Northern Ireland Open. The 34-year-old will come up against Pang Junxu or Craig Steadman in round one.
Qualifying has been taking place at the Morningside Arena in Leicester. Fan Zhengyi battled through to make it to the main event in York - and he will face Mark Williams in round one.
Yuan SiJun held his nerve to secure victory over Ken Doherty in the final round of qualifying, and he will face world champion Luca Brecel in the first round.
