SATURDAY AFTERNOON SESSION
Coming into the day with a 9-7 advantage, the 29-year-old won the session 5-3 to leave himself three frames away from victory, going into this evening's final showdown.
The only real moment of quality in a nervy encounter saw Trump - who is searching for his first world title and second appearance in the final - piece together a break of 114 in the fourth frame of the session.

FRIDAY REPORT

Judd Trump has broken the deadlock against Gary Wilson and carved open a two-frame lead in their World Snooker Championship semi-final.
Trump took charge against Wilson after a session where the 2011 finalist had initially showed some nerves.
Nothing separated the pair after the first session as they were four frames apiece.
Wilson seized the initiative in the first frame of the second session after Trump left the table open following a break of 50.
The session ebbed back and forth and it seemed like there would be parity at the end of it.
But after struggling to find his fluent best, Trump conjured up breaks of 73, 123 and 75 in the last three frames to establish a 9-7 lead.
