The Six Red World Championship is back for the first time since 2019 with some of snooker's biggest names heading to Thailand for the unique event.
The Six Red format is a different take on the more traditional game, reducing the number of red ball on the table to six from the usual 15.
An invitational tournament, this year's event featured the likes of Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Williams, and defending champion, Stephen Maguire.

The latest edition of the tournament begins on March 6, 2023 with the final taking place on March 11.
This year’s tournament is being hosted at the Thammasat University Convention Centre in Pathum Thani in Bangkok, Thailand.

2023 SIX RED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SNOOKER FORMAT
Six-red snooker is a shorted version of the traditional game, with only six red balls on the table to start as opposed to the usual 15.
This year’s tournament is made up of 32 players divided into eight groups of four in a round-robin format. Each player players against the others in the group in best of nine frame matches, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockouts.
The round of 16 and quarter-final matches are best of 11 frames, the semis best of 13, and the final a best of 15 showdown for the title and ÂŁ100,000 prize.
