Edinburgh's Meadowbank Sports Centre plays host to the 2023 Scottish Open with world No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan and former champion Luca Brecel among the contenders.
Last year's title winner, Gary Wilson, will also be in attendance as he seeks to defend his first career ranking title - while Judd Trump will be hunting another ranking title.
Meanwhile, juniors Jack Borwick and Amaan Iqbal were each handed wildcard entries.
When is the Scottish Open?
The qualifiers begin on Monday, October 30 and run through Thursday, November 2. The main event takes place in December, beginning on Monday 11 and concluding with the final on Sunday 17.

Who is playing in the Scottish Open?
A field of stars will line up in the opening round of the Scottish Open in Edinburgh in December, including world No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan, reigning champion Gary Wilson and world champion Luca Brecel.
Xiao Guodong, Jamie Clarke, Fan Zhengyi, and Sanderson Lam are among those entering at the qualifying stage.
Jack Borwick and Amaan Iqbal have been awarded wildcard places in the tournament.
What is the Scottish Open schedule?
The tournament proper begins on Monday, December 11 with the rounds progressing each day. The quarter-finals are set for Friday, with the semi-finals on Saturday and the final on Sunday.
The first four rounds of the tournament will be played on a best-of-seven basis with no intervals. The quarter-finals will be best of nine frames, the semi-finals best of 11 and the final is a best of 17 frames with an interval after the first eight frames. The daily sessions will begin at 10am and 7pm, with held back matches played not before 1pm.
When is the final?
The 2023 Scottish Open Final is scheduled for Sunday, December 17, beginning at 7pm, GMT.
What is the prize money?
There is a total of £427,000 of prize money on offer in Edinburgh. It is divided in the following format.
- Winner: £80,000
- Runner-up: £35,000
- Semi-final: £17,500
- Quarter-final: £11,000
- Last 16: £7,500
- Last 32: £4,500
- Last 64: £3,000
- Highest break: £5,000
