Ronnie O'Sullivan claimed it was "the maddest game I've ever played in" as he made two 147 breaks in a remarkable Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters semi-final against Chris Wakelin.
O'Sullivan made his maximums in the first and seventh frames of the match, as he claimed a 6-3 win to set up a showdown in the final with Neil Robertson, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
It was a night to remember for snooker fans, as O'Sullivan landed the £147,000 bonus for making two maximums.
"It's probably the maddest game I've ever played in," O'Sullivan said.
"I played one against [Stephen] Hendry in Torquay, it wasn't even televised. I think I beat the highest break three times in the final. That was probably on that level tonight.
"I heard 50 grand for a 147 and I thought, it's worth going for. And all of a sudden I'm thinking, 'if I get another one...'
"I'm enjoying playing. I've enjoyed every match this season. I feel like I'm cueing alright. As long as I'm cueing alright, I look forward to playing.

"I've got to be honest, I'm sitting there at three all thinking, I'm probably going to lose this game.
"Chris is a monster, he's so solid. He's better than solid, when we say that it's a compliment. As a player he's very hard to break down. He's a superb competitor."
O'Sullivan also reflected again on his new cue, which was made by fellow professional Sunny Akani.
"He's going to be a busy guy," O'Sullivan added. "He's going to have to probably retire from playing snooker, seriously he is and maybe just concentrate on making cues for the next two or three years."
Speaking shortly after that to World Snooker Tour, O'Sullivan admitted: "I've never played that well I think in a match before."
Jackson Page made two maximums in the same match in April - a World Championship qualifier against Allan Taylor - but to do it in a match of such importance is truly staggering from O'Sullivan.
Now he has the little matter of raising himself for the final on Saturday, when he will take on another superstar of the sport, Australia's Robertson.
