And The Rocket has been rewarded with five new Guinness World Records during the World Seniors Snooker Championship at The Crucible.
O’Sullivan now has 19 Guinness World Records to his name, having been presented with his most recent awards following his 4-1 triumph over Ken Doherty on Friday.
The five gongs included the Guinness World Record for the highest break in the history of professional snooker, a remarkable 153 that the 50-year-old produced against Ryan Day at the 2026 World Open last March.
He also received Guinness World Record plaques for the most career-ranking titles won in snooker, the most competitive 147 breaks in snooker, the first snooker player to make 1,000 competitive centuries - and the fastest 147 break in snooker.
O’Sullivan produced the fastest 147 break back in April 1997, setting the record in a time of five minutes and eight seconds.
He reached the milestone of 1,000 competitive centuries in March 2019, and he also holds the record for the most competitive maximums after taking his tally to 17 in August 2025.
