Neil Robertson is set to set up home in what he describes as his "blessed land" of Hong Kong, only three months after reaching a state of nirvana in the Asian city.
Robertson drubbed Stuart Bingham 10-0 in the World Grand Prix final at the new Kai Tak Arena in March to become the first player in history to complete two whitewash victories in a major ranking final.
The Melbourne man followed up his 9-0 win over Zhou Yuelong at the 2020 European Masters in Austria with a historic 25th ranking triumph against 2015 Crucible winner Bingham.
The 2010 world champion, who has been based in Cambridge, claimed the invitational Hong Kong Masters in 2017 with a 6-3 victory over Ronnie O'Sullivan at Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
He will now join O'Sullivan and world No. 1 Judd Trump by accepting an invite to make the move under the city’s Quality Migrant Admission Scheme.
"This is not only a significant moment for me personally, but also an honour for our entire family," said world No. 8 Robertson on Weibo, the social media platform in China.
