Session Two

Sam Baird beat Michael White 10-7 in his opening match at the Snooker World Championship, winning four frames in a row after trailing 7-6 in the final session.
White is the fourth seeded player to go out so far, losing to an unheralded opponent who had never before made it past the opening round of the tournament - and indeed had only ever qualified for The Crucible once, in 2013.
White trailed 5-4 going into the final session, but won three of the opening four frames on Monday evening to look like he would take charge - particularly given that he made an 88 and a 102.
But Baird then won the next four frames in a row to clinch the match, with breaks of 54, 103 and 62 helping him on his way.
Baird will play either world number one Mark Selby or Robert Milkins in the second round - and most likely Selby, given that the Jester from Leicester leads his opponent 7-2 after the opening session.
Scores: 31-88, 92-23, 0-93, 86-1 (86), 67-40, 8-78 (78), 49-88, 107-4 (60), 1-108 (108), 53-10, 92-5 (88), 47-56, 119-21 (102), 4-71, 14-69 (54), 0-104 (103), 10-75 (62)

Session One

Sam Baird made 108 in frame nine of his clash with Michael White to take a 5-4 lead into the second session.
Baird took two of the opening scrappy three frames but a break of 86 from White levelled matters at two frames each.
White then ground out frame five 67-40 but saw Baird claim frames six and seven to move to a 4-3 advantage.
Yet the 24-year-old White again regrouped with a break of 60 to once again achieve parity. However, Baird ensured he went into the second session with a slight advantage as he wrapped up frame nine with a break of 108.
Scores: 31-88, 92-23, 0-93, 86-1 (86), 67-40, 8-78, 49-88, 107-4 (60), 1-108 (108)
