Anthony McGill has revealed how he almost slept through his qualifying match at the China Open, despite a scheduled start time of half past two in the afternoon.

"I woke up during the night, practised for two hours then went back to bed at 7am," McGill explained.
A no-doubt flustered McGill was docked a frame for arriving late for his match against Nigel Bond, but avoided being over 15 minutes late, which would have seen him docked a second frame.
However, the incident clearly impacted on the Scot, who went 3-1 down in the best-of-11 encounter.
But the 28-year-old appeared to shake off his drowsiness to rack up two century breaks en-route to a 6-4 victory.
“I managed to get a car to the venue quickly so I got ready for the match in the car," a relieved McGill said after his win.
"I have been practising really hard and I am feeling good about the game. I feel I have been playing better than my results suggest, but that’s all in the past and I’m looking forward to the future.”
When asked how it happened, McGill said: "I have been sleeping a lot since I got here, so I didn’t bother setting an alarm.”
He won't be making the same mistake twice, that's for sure.
