A total of 48 qualifiers enter the second round of the tournament after the top 16 in the world play their opening matches in Cheltenham next month.
Shaun Murphy and Jack Lisowski could meet in a mouth-watering second-round fixture should they beat Rebecca Kenna and Joe O’Connor respectively.
Kyren Wilson has also been dealt a difficult draw; should ‘The Warrior’ overcome Martin O’Donnell in the opening round, he will come up against the winner of last year’s runner-up Mark Allen or Anthony McGill.
Current world champion Luca Brecel's reward if he can get past world No. 15 Ding Junhui is a second-round match with Liu Hongyu.
