Who is playing at the 2025 English Open?

Defending champion Robertson is the top seed in the draw, and world No. 1 Judd Trump will also be involved when the round of 64 gets under way.

Seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan is set to sit out the tournament in his home town of Brentwood.

The Rocket also opted out of the Wuhan Open after reaching the final of the Saudi Arabia Masters last month.

World Championship winner Zhao Xintong is set to take part alongside Xiao Guodong, who won the 2025 Wuhan Open in the last ranking event of the 2025/26 season.

Last year’s losing finalist Wu Yize is in the draw for the round of 64, as is England’s Kyren Wilson.

Gary Wilson will hope to bounce back at the Brentwood Centre from his Wuhan Open final defeat.
