Birk Ruud won gold in the Men's Slopestyle World Championships final in Bakuriani, Georgia after a phenomenal second run score of 90.75.
Big Air Olympic Champion Ruud sat in second behind Max Moffatt after Round 1, scoring 82.21 compared to the Canadian's 82.80, but nobody could beat his second score and he sat on top of the podium to go one better than his slopestyle silver four years ago in Utah.
The 22-year-old Norwegian said: "It feels amazing, today has been tough.
"I woke up with a fever feeling so I skipped half of the practice and tried to save my energy."
Ruud was joined on the podium by fellow Norwegian Christian Nummedal, who secured silver with an excellent second round run saw him score 87.08.
Completing the podium was Swiss star Andri Ragettl, who secured bronze with a score of 84.33.
