Finland's Janne Ahonen unleashed a final jump of 132 metres to secure his first victory of the season at a K120 ski jumping World Cup event in Engelberg on Saturday.

Mathias Hafele finished second in the Swiss resort thanks to a first jump of 131 m while Sven Hannawald of Germany confirmed his return to action with a strong third place showing, recording 129.5 m for his first jump and 124 m for the second.
Saturday's K120 also marked the return of Germany's Martin Schmitt, who only managed to finish 16th, just behind Poland's defending World Cup champion Adam Malysz, back in a disappointing 15th place.
