Students perform haka for former pupil Jonah Lomu
ByTNT Sports
Students at Jonah Lomu’s former school have paid tribute to the New Zealand icon by performing a haka in his honour.
The sporting world was rocked by Lomu’s death on Wednesday morning. He was just 40.
Lomu’s talent was harnessed at Wesley College in Auckland – a place he credited with transforming his belief – with a pack of current students performing a traditional haka dance to show their respects.
He scored 37 tries in 63 appearances for New Zealand – including a record 15 tries in just two World Cups.
