IRELAND MADE TO FIGHT TO DOWN WALES
Ireland sealed the Triple Crown but needed a second-half comeback to defeat a revitalised Wales.
From the opening moments Wales looked to be playing with more dare and flair than they had for some time and though Jack Conan put Ireland in front early, they kept forcing the game and, after Garry Ringrose’s red card, Jac Morgan put them in front before half-time.
The lead was extended through a try from Tom Rogers, after fantastic work from Blair Morgan, but a superb assist from James Lowe set up Jamie Osborne to level the scores and Sam Prendergast’s kicking took the game beyond Wales.
Regardless, this was a good performance under interim coach Matt Sherratt, which restored some pride in Welsh rugby.
Ireland next host France in a fortnight in a match which may well decide who wins the Six Nations.

TRY! WALES 18-18 IRELAND (OSBORNE)
Incredible assist from Lowe jumping high on the touchline, beyond the corner flag to touch back Gibson-Park's kick for Osborne to touch down.
