Pro D2 Rugby

Pro D2 was launched in 2000 and is French rugby union’s second-tier league. Clubs taking part in Pro D2 are battling for promotion into the top-tier Top 14, the world’s best union rugby league, so fans are guaranteed fierce action on the pitch. As the shadow-Top 14 league, the Pro D2 attracts players from major rugby countries around the world including England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Italy as well as New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. Recent Top 14 champions including Biarritz and Perpignan, take on the likes of French rugby bastions Agen, Béziers, Dax and Bayonne ensuring heroic performances and unforgettable battles in Pro D2.
