QUINS PULL OFF SENSATIONAL COMEBACK TO DOWN CHIEFS
Exeter Chiefs' push for a top-four finish in the Gallagher PREM looked to be on track as they dominated the first half, but Harlequins produced 27 unanswered points after the break to celebrate victory at the Big Summer Kick-Off.
In a quintessential game of two halves, Exeter dominated the first 40 minutes with Campbell Ridl, Stephen Varney, Max Norey and Len Ikitau all scoring tries to quieten the home crowd at Twickenham.
Jack Kenningham scored one try against the run of play before Marcus Smith set up Luke Northmore for a score on his 100th appearance to keep the hosts in touch going into the second half.
Early in the second half, Cadan Murley scored the crucial next try and then Quins had to be resolute in defence, with Joseph Dweba stopped millimetres from the line.
An inspired run by Jamie Benson set up a try for replacement Will Porter to level the scores and then, after Smith's penalty put them in front for the first time, a trip by Bachuki Tchumbadze saw them gain a man advantage and soon afterwards Will Evans scored in the right corner. The game then ended with an intercept try from Boris Wenger to send the crowd into delirium.
Quins rise, for the moment at least, up to eighth in the table, while Exeter are in danger of slipping out of the top four, lying five points in front of fifth-placed Bristol.

TRY! HARLEQUINS (MURLEY) 19-24 EXETER
We do have a game! It began with a fine run from Anderson traversing in midfield and then breaking the line and running to the 22. A couple of phases later, the ball was then played wide and Murley ran in.
