Gallagher PREM team news: Tom Curry to start for Sale, Tom Christie to make Newcastle debut, Ellis Genge out for Bristol

Round 6 of the Gallagher PREM starts on Friday, November 28, with a double-header of action live on TNT Sports and discovery+ as Newcastle take on Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks face Exeter. Tom Curry is set to start for Sale along with Luke Cowan-Dickie, George Ford and Asher Opoku-Fordjour, while Tom Christie will make his Newcastle debut. The Gallagher PREM returns following a month-long break for the Quilter Nations Series - and all the weekend’s action will be live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
Round 6 starts with a double-header on Friday night as Newcastle Red Bulls take on Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks face Exeter Chiefs.
Newcastle are seeking their first league win in a year and give a debut to Tom Christie, who has signed from Super Rugby side Crusaders, while Adam Brocklebank will make his 150th appearance.
England internationals Freddie Steward and Joe Heyes both start for Leicester.
Meanwhile, Tom Curry will make his first Gallagher PREM start of the season for Sale against Exeter.
Curry, who was named in World Rugby's Dream Team of the Year, featured for England in the Quilter Nations Series after recovering from injury. He is joined in the Sale starting XV by England internationals Luke Cowan-Dickie, George Ford and Asher Opoku-Fordjour.

Australia’s Len Ikitau, who was also named in the World Rugby Dream Team, starts for Exeter, along with England’s Henry Slade and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso.
But Bristol Bears will be without England’s Ellis Genge when they face unbeaten leaders Northampton Saints on Saturday.
Genge is having a mandatory break after featuring in all four of England’s Quilter Nations Series games. James Williams makes his first league appearance of the season for Bristol.
Centre Ollie Lawrence will miss out for Bath against Saracens on Sunday after he suffered a hamstring injury while on England duty.
Arthur Green will start at No. 8 for Bath and Elliot Daly makes his first appearance of the season for Saracens after returning for England following four-and-a-half months out with broken arm.
