Owen Farrell is set to return to Saracens after a deal was agreed with Racing 92, according to The Telegraph.
The Premiership club are expected to pay a fee of around €200,000 for the 33-year-old, after Racing reduced their initial demands of €500,000.
Farrell will leave the French club a year before the end of his contract and return to Saracens, where he spent 16 seasons before his exit in 2024.
The former England captain has reportedly signed a five-year contract with Saracens in an initial player-coach role.
His long-term future is expected to be as a coach with the Gallagher Premiership club, and he could return to the England fold in time for next month's tour of Argentina and the United States.
He was ineligible for the England squad given his move abroad, and was also left out of the British & Irish Lions squad for this summer's tour of Australia.
Farrell's first season in France has been a difficult one, disrupted by injuries, but his return will be a boost for Saracens as they look to improve on this season's sixth-place finish.

Saracens director of rugby, Mark McCall, said of Farrell: "He doesn’t have to play 10, he can play other positions as well. So for our young talents who are developing, it could be a great thing to have him there.
"It’s not just about having talent, it’s about being able to think properly on the field. I know Owen’s obviously one of the best at that.
"He and [fellow fly-half] Louie Johnson in particular have a very strong relationship already. They talk every month, at least. Owen’s so willing to share his knowledge and his experience with younger players."
McCall last month suggested Farrell could soon turn his attention to coaching.
"I would be very surprised if he didn’t commit to coaching, to be honest," McCall said. "Rugby is in his skin.
"He has got a great IQ and a passion and love for it, like his dad [Andy Farrell]. I would be absolutely amazed if that wasn’t what he wanted to do."
