Hot on the heels of announcing the signing of Argentina international Santi Carreras from rivals Gloucester on Wednesday, Bath have been busy in the transfer stakes once more as they have announced their capture of young England star Henry Arundell. The 22-year-old starred for England at the 2023 World Cup before a move to the Top 14, but has now decided to return to the Gallagher Premiership.

In another stunning transfer coup, Bath have announced the signing of England star Henry Arundell.
The exciting 22-year-old winger is set to move to The Rec in the summer, having agreed to a three-year deal.
The news comes just a day after Bath snared Santi Carreras from local rivals Gloucester, as the club embark on an ambitious transfer spree.
Arundell said: "Joining Bath will be a very special occasion for both myself and my family. We’ve been Bath fans for generations - ever since my grandparents - and growing up I spent many years in the stands supporting the team.
"Now, to potentially have the opportunity to wear a Bath rugby shirt is incredibly exciting. The team is in a fantastic place right now, with a brilliant culture, and I’m confident we can create some amazing memories over the next few years."
Johaan van Graan, Bath's head of rugby, added: "Henry has some world-class attributes, more specifically, his speed and try-scoring ability.
"Henry made it very clear when we spoke that he wants to improve as a player and I believe that Bath is the club to do that.
"His willingness to learn, grow and become better fits in well with what we, as a group of players, coaches and staff are all working towards on our journey together."
Arundell broke out into the English rugby landscape in some style three years ago, impressing for London Irish with his scintillating pace and try-scoring ability, with a penchant for the spectacular.
After leaving Irish in 2023, Arundell starred for England at that autumn's World Cup - grabbing five tries against Chile in the group stages - before joining Racing 92 in France's Top 14.
Racing, who have Arundell's compatriot Owen Farrell in their ranks, recently dispensed with the services of ex-England coach Stuart Lancaster, after a mixed season to date.
As a result of his move back to the Gallagher Premiership, Arundell will once more be eligible to represent Steve Borthwick's England, where he will compete with the likes of Manny Feyi-Waboso, Tommy Freeman and Ollie Sleightholme.
The Gallagher Premiership will resume on March 21 following the completion of the men's Six Nations.
