Sarries to bounce back
ByTNT Sports
Saracens coach Alan Gaffney is confident his side can bounce back from their European Challenge Cup defeat at the weekend and clinch a place in the Premiership play-offs with victory over Worcester on Saturday.
Sarries failed to reach the final of the European Challenge Cup after going down by a point to Bath, but they can make amends by clinching their first ever play-off place with victory over struggling Worcester at Sixways.
The Warriors are currently second-from-bottom in the Premiership standings and need a win to avoid relegation and leave Northampton facing the drop.
"The boys trained well and things were very positive," said Gaffney. "We've addressed the issues of the weekend in the same way that we did after losing to Wasps by one point.
"We got a good reaction to that as we came out the following wee and got a good result - we're after the same this weekend."
A win for Saracens could also see them finish second in the table and secure them a home tie in the play-offs, depending on other results.
If Gloucester win their game with Bristol at Ashton Gate, and Wasps win at Leicester, then a Saracens victory would be enough for second place and a home play-off.
