Former Ireland international Felix Jones has reportedly handed in his resignation to step away from his role as England defence coach. The news comes after the surprise departure of strength and conditioning coach Aled Walters, who left to join the Ireland camp. England head coach Steve Borthwick had two members of his coaching staff leave their roles in recent weeks.

England defence coach Felix Jones has reportedly handed in his resignation after seven months in his role at the Rugby Football Union.
If confirmed, Jones will become the second member of staff to quit head coach Steve Borthwick's setup after strength and conditioning coach Aled Walters stepped away from his role to join Ireland.
Jones joined the England coaching staff after the Rugby World Cup last autumn and was part of the triumphant South Africa set-up who became world champions in Paris.
It was the second World Cup victory of Jones' career following South Africa's win in 2019.
However, it is being reported by the BBC that the 37-year-old has handed in his resignation letter after just seven months in his new role - which is said to include a 12-month notice period.
The RFU is yet to comment on Jones' situation.

Jones had been influential in implementing the blitz defence which caused the All-Blacks problems during England's tour of New Zealand. England lost two tight Test matches in July, but the physical defence was one of the highlights of the tour.
