World Superbikes Imola Race 2 cancelled
Adverse weather conditions at Imola have forced the cancellation of Race 2 of this weekend's World Superbikes action.
Four-time champions Jonathan Rea had been on fine form in Italy, winning both Race 1 and Sunday morning's Superpole race.
However, he will not have the opportunity to continue his good run of form, with the rain forcing the cancellation of the rest of the weekend's action.
Rea's two victories have broken Alvaro Bautista's 11-race winning streak and left him on the brink of history, needing just three more top-three finishes to become the first man to make 150 appearances on the podium.
Bautista still retains a healthy lead in the championship standings, sitting 43 points ahead of Rea.
