Toprak Razgatlioglu picks his top three tracks for racing - including an icon of British motorsport

Toprak Razgatlioglu has been reminiscing about the past as he selected his favourite circuits to have raced on - all for very different reasons. The Turkish rider is continuing to navigate the transition from Superbikes to MotoGP for the 2026 season, where he sits 20th in the Championship standings with Prima Pramac Yamaha. Marco Bezzecchi leads the way after three rounds of action.

Toprak Razgatlioglu is three rounds into a new era as a MotoGP rider, having moved across from Superbikes for the 2026 season.
And while results are yet to go his way, the Prima Pramac Yamaha rider is relishing the challenge before the regulation switch in 2027.
But away from the world of MotoGP, Razgatlioglu has been thinking back to his Superbikes days by choosing his favourite tracks that he has raced on.
And there are no surprises in the mix, with the Turkish three-time Superbike world champion going for classic circuits.
His first pick was Portimao, also known as the Algarve International Circuit.
This Portuguese track is undulating, fast and has sweeping bends that promote overtaking - perfect for bike racing.

That is not the only reason Razgatlioglu likes it, though.
”I many times win there, and also I really love to, after the win, to jump into the pool,” he said.
He won at Portimao in all three of his Championship-winning seasons, so it is easy to see why he likes the track.
Next up was Magny-Cours in France, another iconic circuit that has hosted plenty of different categories of racing.
The Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours has long, fast straights, hairpin bends and some super quick chicanes - with some of the corners borrowed from other famous tracks such as Imola.
”This is [the location of] my first win in the World Championship, that’s why I really like Magny-Cours,” Razgatlioglu said.

And his final pick?
Donington Park, the legendary British circuit where the weather often comes into play.
”I love this track because it is like a roller-coaster style,” the 29-year-old said.
”You don’t see some corners. Normally, I like those corners and this track as I’m normally strong there, and many times win also with Yamaha and different brands.”
Razgatlioglu won all three races at Donington in the past two seasons, so his final pick was not a surprise either.
The Turkish star will now get ready for the next round of MotoGP, which takes place in Spain from April 24.
