Marc Marquez will be fit to continue at Grand Prix Netherlands despite his two crashes during Friday's practice sessions. Ducati released a statement regarding the Spaniard's condition, and Marquez also reassured fans that he will be fit to ride for the remainder of the race weekend. The 32-year-old remained largely unscathed, which will come as a relief, given his torrid injury record.

Marc Marquez has been declared fit to ride at Grand Prix Netherlands after suffering two heavy crashes during Friday's practice sessions.
Marquez fell during the morning session and looked to be in plenty of pain, as he examined his left hand and arm.
The championship leader also appeared to have pain in his shoulder, but still managed to take part in the afternoon session before falling off his bike again.
The Ducati rider looked to be winded, but there appeared to be no indication that it would end his weekend of racing.
That was subsequently confirmed in a team statement released by Ducati, which read: "After the heavy crash in today’s practice, Marc Marquez went to the Medical Centre at the Assen circuit, where it was confirmed that he has no fractures.
"The Spanish rider is only suffering from bruises to his face, finger, stomach, and left elbow [also from his morning crash].
"Marc Marquez will be able to take part in tomorrow morning’s FP2 session."

Despite Marquez's troubles, the Spaniard managed to seal a place in Q2 and heads into Saturday's Sprint sitting 40 points clear in the standings.
The 32-year-old spoke in more detail following a turbulent day at the TT Circuit in Assen.
"Of course, physically, about the two big crashes, it’s not an easy day for my body," Marquez told MotoGP.com. "But, apart from that, I’m lucky because it’s nothing important."
When recounting the two crashes, Marquez admitted to being caught out by the gravel and the tricky track surface.

"The first [crash] was a bit strange because I wasn’t really pushing; since I go out from the box I felt super slippery and in fact I crashed there," the Ducati Lenovo Team rider said.
"The second one was a consequence, it was a time attack, but I did a time attack with the front tyre that I crashed this morning because the quantity was not enough to keep the tyres for tomorrow.
"So, it was a mix of things, plus, especially in this race track, the gravel - the rocks are too big, for me, in my opinion, and this [means] that when you arrive in the gravel it’s quite painful."
