The 2024 MotoGP grid continues to take shape after Prima Pramac announced that Franco Morbidelli will take their second seat alongside Jorge Martin next season. The Italian was replaced by Alex Rins at Yamaha, but will line up in the top tier of motorcycling again next year with a new team. The Grand Prix of India is live on TNT Sports on September 22.

Prima Pramac have signed Franco Morbidelli for the 2024 MotoGP season, when he will team up with Jorge Martin.
Morbidelli was left without a seat when Yamaha signed Alex Rins from LCR Honda, but his future in the top tier has now been secured.
The 2017 Moto2 GP champion achieved a career-best second place finish in MotoGP in 2020 with Yamaha.
But last year's 19th-place finish was a disappointment and he currently sits 12th in the 2023 standings with 68 points.
“I am very happy that Franco is joining our family for 2024,” said Prima Pramac team principal Paolo Campinoti.
“I have an excellent relationship with him, and he has proven to be a champion on many occasions.
“I am confident that in our team, he will find the right conditions to fight for the positions he deserves.”
The MotoGP season continues on September 22 with the Grand Prix of India, live on TNT Sports.
Morbidelli’s future team-mate Martin currently sits second in the Championship standings with 247 points, behind world champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) on 283.
Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46) is in third with 218 points.
Martin was victorious in San Marino on September 10, pipping Bezzecchi and Bagnaia to the chequered flag.
