Frankie Dettori, who famously rode all seven winners on an afternoon at Ascot's September Festival 11 years ago, had to settle for one victory from his five mounts on the corresponding day on Saturday.

But the Italian saved the best for the last and the biggest, winning the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on 5-1 chance Ramonti for owners Godolphin and trainer Saeed bin Suroor.
Delighted Dettori, who also won on Ramonti at the Royal Ascot meeting in June, told BBC TV: "He's undoubtedly the best miler in Europe."
Dettori seeks another big race success next weekend when he partners Epsom Derby winner Authorized, the 6-4 favourite, in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp in Paris.
There could also be more rich pickings with Ramonti in the Breeders' Cup Mile at Monmouth Park, New Jersey, in four weeks' time. Bookmakers rate the five-year-old as 3-1 favourite.
The other top honours at Ascot on Saturday went to Irish-trained two-year-old Listen, a length winner of the Group One Fillies' Mile.
Bookmakers now quote Listen as 8-1 joint favourite for next-year's English 1,000 Guineas classic.
Winning jockey Johnny Murtagh went on to complete a fine double when he took the Heritage Handicap on 50-1 outsider Candidato Roy who raced alone on the stands side after being drawn one of the 23 runners.
