There was an amusing moment for Thomas Pieters at LIV Golf Adelaide as he found a ball already in the hole before making his putt.
During the Belgian’s second round at the Grange Golf Club, his first putt on the 12th hole fell excruciatingly short, denying him a birdie.
But there was a moment of comic relief for the frustrated 34-year-old, finding a ball already in the hole before he could tap home for a par.
Pieters looked around in bemusement as he pointed at the hole, not quite believing what he was seeing.
He then retrieved the mystery ball from the hole, which was met by cheers from the onlooking fans, before throwing it to someone at the side of the green.
"There's something you don't see every day," the TNT Sports commentary team said. "There was already one in here."

Pieters shot a three-under par 69 on Friday, leaving him two under overall and down in 37th in the standings.
Elsewhere, Jon Rahm was a shot off the LIV Golf Adelaide record, hitting a nine-under par 63, to take the lead at the halfway stage of the tournament.
The Spaniard, at 13-under overall, is one shot clear of New Zealander Ben Campbell, who also hit a 63, which included holing a fairway iron on the 18th for an eagle.
That was not the shot of the day, though, which belonged to another golfer from Spain, David Puig, who holed his second shot on a par five for an albatross.
Bryson DeChambeau led for much of the day, but despite a 67, two bogeys on par-three holes leave him one shot further back from Campbell in third.
Anthony Kim continued his fantastic form, hitting a second successive 65 to end up on 10-under par, one clear of course record holder Talor Gooch, who matched Rahm and Campbell's round score.
Local favourite Marc Leishman, the overnight leader with DeChambeau, fell back down the field after a level-par 72.
