Cassidy managed to swap places with his team-mate Mitch Evans, who started on pole position, and fought Nyck de Vries for the win.
De Vries scored his first podium position since Monaco with a second-placed finish at the ExCeL centre, holding off Pascal Wehrlein.
The Porsche champion finished in third place with an extra point for the fastest lap of the race, adding to Porsche’s total of 244 points in the standings.
Nissan, on the other hand, took a step back with just two points scored by Norman Nato; their total points are now 207.

CASSIDY: I KNEW WE HAD HUGE POTENTIAL
It was a wonderful day for Jaguar, securing a third consecutive win this season with driver Nick Cassidy at the top of the podium.
Cassidy said: "It's unbelievable, man.
"I mean, to win here at home for Jaguar and our team, we have a lot of friends and family partners here today, and it's incredible.
"And, you know, not the happiest guy this morning, but that was for a reason.
"I knew we had huge potential in the car. And that race, we were able to show that, which was pretty cool.
"Yeah, exactly, to be honest, it was a little bit fluid.
"A huge shout-out to my strategy team.
"To be honest, I was really scared about not coming out of the pits in the lead of that second group, and it was tight, but I was able to hang on there, and that's what made the race.
"It meant that we could do the attacks later, which was very powerful."

DE VRIES: PLEASED TO BRING IT TO THE FRONT ROW
Nyck De Vries earned his first podium since Monaco earlier in the season with a P2 finish for Mahindra. The Dutchman briefly led the race, but Jaguar stole the show with a knock-out performance from Cassidy.
De Vries said: "Yeah, I'm certainly very happy to be back and give the team a result they definitely deserved.
"Obviously, in Jakarta, we were on course for a great race, but for various reasons, we didn't manage to bring home a podium.
"So I'm very pleased to bring it to the front row and then execute in the race.
"So thank you very much to the entire team for giving me a great car today."

WEHRLEIN: WE WANT TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Last season's victor, Pascal Wehrlein, scored a P3 in the London ePrix. His battle was not for the lead, but to pick up points for Porsche in the teams and manufacturers championships.
Wehrlein said: "No, I'm quite happy.
"I think, yeah, I would have wanted more, of course, but more was not possible.
"That was what we had today.
"And our goals are clear.
"We want to win the teams and the manufacturers championship, so then the points are very important for us.
"Nevertheless, I always want to win. Every time I race, I want to win, and I feel like today, it was not possible.
"But yeah, we take the positives and one more race to go tomorrow.
"Looking forward to that."

CASSIDY SECURES ANOTHER VICTORY FOR JAGUAR
Nick Cassidy secured Jaguar's third consecutive victory this season with a brilliant performance at the London ExCeL centre.
Nyck de Vries comes home in second place after a brief stint at the front of the pack, defending from Pascal Wehrlein who scored the final podium finish.
37/38
CASSIDY COMFY IN THE LEAD
The safety car went in on Lap 35 as the race was extended by just one lap. Nick Cassidy stormed ahead and pulled 1.06s away from Nyck de Vries in an instant. The Mahindra driver is under pressure from Pascal Wehrlein, who is keen on securing Porsche the championship.
Oliver Rowland, down in 14th place, deployed his final two minutes ATTACK MODE in the closing stages of the race. However, he found himself stuck behind Sebastien Buemi who also possessed two minutes of ATTACK MODE.
Another yellow flag was waved at Turn 17 for a spin on the track, but it was cleared quickly. Nico Mueller spun and hit the wall at the penultimate corner.
At the front of the pack, Cassidy pulled 1.8s ahead of de Vries with a blisteringly quick pace. The closest battle on track at this stage was between the polesitter and the championship winner. Rowland searched for a way around Evans but the Jaguar driver refused to give up 11th place.
34/37
SAFETY CAR AS TICKTUM SHUNTS WALL
A safety car was called out on Lap 33 after Dan Ticktum was planted firmly into the wall at Turn 9. The young driver likely picked up damage from the shunt earlier and locked up heading out of Turn 9.
Multiple drivers, including Pascal Wehrlein and Stoffel Vandoorne, running in third and fourth place respectively, were in ATTACK MODE when the safety car was called. Wehrlein had three minutes of ATTACK MODE left when the safety car was called, so this recovery really does alter his race.
As it stands, Norman Nato could score some points for Nissan while his teammate sat down in 14th place. Oliver Rowland struggled with strategy and pace in this race, while his teammate managed to overtake Nico Mueller before the safety car.
However, Rowland still has two minutes of ATTACK MODE left to use in the final part of the race.
32/37
CASSIDY STORMING AHEAD WHILE EVANS GETS SHUNTED
With no ATTACK MODE left, Nyck de Vries was put in the awkward position of having to defend from Pascal Wehrlein. Nick Cassidy's ATTACK MODE strategy pushed him three seconds ahead of de Vries by Lap 30.
Behind, Oliver Rowland and his Nissan teammate Norman Nato were struggling in 12th and 13th place. Nato then utilised two minutes of ATTACK MODE on Lap 30 in an attempt to climb into the points-scoring positions.
Cassidy used another four minutes of ATTACK MODE to continue building the gap at the top of the pack.
It all kicked off on Lap 31 as the polesitter, Mitch Evans, was shunted by Dan Ticktum while heading into the indoor section of the circuit. Evans rejoined the track safely but he fell to 14th place in the battle.
28/37
CASSIDY TAKES BACK THE LEAD FOR JAGUAR
On Lap 25, Nyck de Vries headed into the pits to receive his Pit Boost and the rest of the top five followed. During this extravaganza, Robin Frijns assumed the lead of the race. De Vries built a gap of four seconds to Pascal Wehrlein before heading to the pits, which should realistically stay the same after they both exit the pits.
Mahindra's strategy seemed to work well as de Vries left the pits with the lead of the race after Frijns took his pit boost. Nick Cassidy managed to come out of the pits in second place ahead of Pascal Wehrlein, who was forced back into P3.
Oliver Rowland, however, was down in 11th place on Lap 27 after falling back down the order from fifth a few laps earlier.
Cassidy deployed four minutes of ATTACK MODE on Lap 27, tailing right behind Nyck de Vries through the straight. The overtake was drawing close but Nyck de Vries held onto the lead briefly through Turns 16 to the final corner.
The starting straight is what finished de Vries as he was stormed past by Cassidy as Jaguar reassumed the lead of the London ePrix.
24/37
MAHINDRA USE DOUBLE ATTACK MODE STRATEGY TO KEEP LEAD
Somehow, Nyck de Vries and Pascal Wehrlein managed to pull four seconds away from David Beckmann running in third place. Wehrlein's ATTACK MODE ran out on Lap 21, as well as Nyck de Vries' but the Dutchman instantly deployed another four minutes of ATTACK MODE to try build a gap to the rest of the pack. This puts the Mahindra driver in an awkward position, having no ATTACK MODE to spare in the closing stages of the race.
Meanwhile, Mitch Evans did well to hold off Oliver Rowland's advances and kept his P3 track position. In the top five, de Vries was the only driver still using ATTACK MODE on Lap 24.
20/37
DE VRIES ASSUMES LEAD WITH ATTACK MODE OVERTAKE
ATTACK MODE finally comes into play with David Beckmann taking six minutes of his ATTACK MODE to climb up to the top of the field. Nyck de Vries and Pascal Wehrlein also decided to use four minutes of ATTACK MODE in an attempt to fight Mitch Evans for the lead.
On Lap 17, de Vries jumped Evans for the lead through the chicane and forced the Jaguar driver to fight with Wehrlein at Turn 14. The eager Porsche driver looked for a way around Evans but the Jaguar driver defended hard around Turn 20.
However, Wehrlein managed to tail Evans through the final turn and overtake him on the starting straight as we head into Lap 19. Evans was then sandwiched in between five ATTACK MODE drivers including the leading two and Beckmann and Oliver Rowland.
In a shocking jump to the front, Rowland has shot up to fifth place by Lap 20 after deploying ATTACK MODE to climb up. Evans then decided to use four minutes of his ATTACK MODE to defend from Rowland, and use the remaining ATTACK MODE to reclaim the lead.
16/37
BIRD TAKES FIRST PIT BOOST
On Lap 13, the drivers took it easy (again), with the teams telling them that the pit window would open in the next six laps.
Taylor Barnard picked up a five-second time penalty for a safety car infraction. He should be able to take the penalty before his Pit Boost stop in the coming laps.
Sam Bird was the first of the drivers to take his Pit Boost stop on Lap 16, exiting the pitlane at the back of the pack. Stoffel Vandoorne, Norman Nato and Jean Eric Vergne followed suit in the midfield battle.
12/37
EVANS LEADS WHILE PORSCHE PLAY LONG GAME
This is a Pit Boost race so drivers will have to factor the mandatory pit stops into the strategy, pairing it well with the ATTACK MODE. Pascal Wehrlein was told by his team to play the "long game", essentially holding out for as long as possible.
Drivers at the top of the pack seemed to possess more energy than the rest, taking it rather early in the opening stage of the race. Mitch Evans has done well so far to hold off Nyck de Vries, but has not built a gap to the young driver.
The order at the top has not changed much over the last few laps as the drivers all seem to be following a similar strategy to Wehrlein. Even Oliver Rowland is stuck in 12th place behind Nico Mueller.
8/37
WEHRLEIN DEFENDING FROM CASSIDY WHILE ROWLAND INCHES CLOSER TO TOP 10
Jake Hughes fled to the pitlane after picking up suspension damage in the earlier incidents. Meanwhile, Edoardo Mortara managed to leave the chaos unscathed, sitting in sixth place on Lap 5. No drivers at this point in the race have used any ATTACK MODE.
In the midfield, the championship winner Oliver Rowland was engaging in a battle with Andretti's Nico Mueller for 11th place. Rowland needs to score some points in order to salvage Nissan's chance of claiming the teams and manufacturer title.
Porsche's best bet, Pascal Wehrlein, was holding the P3 spot for the opening stage of the race with a great defence against Nick Cassidy. Wehrlein managed to build a gap to Cassidy of 0.9s and hoped to escape and head into clear air.
4/37
SAFETY CAR IN
The green flags were waved at the start of Lap 4 and the race began again. Mitch Evans bolted pretty early and managed to build a slight gap to Nyck de Vries in second. Both McLaren drivers have rejoined the race but they sit in 18th and 19th place.
Nick Cassidy picked up the fastest lap of the race early on, hoping to join his Jaguar teammate at the helm of the race.
1/37
EVANS RETAINS POLE AS CHAOS ERUPTS BEHIND
Polesitter Mitch Evans got a great launch off the line to lead the pack around the Excel Centre, enjoying a brief lead before chaos unfolded behind. Nyck de Vries retained his second-place position ahead of Pascal Wehrlein who looked to score crucial points for Porsche in the teams' standings.
A double yellow flag was waved at Turns 4 and 6 after both McLarens shunted the wall and brought out a safety car. There was additional damage for Maximilian Guenther, who made contact with Edoardo Mortara at Turn 1.
17:00
FIVE MINUTES TO GO...
There are just five minutes to go until the London ePrix gets underway. Nissan needs to score points today to close the gap to Porsche in the standings, but both of their drivers are starting low in the order.
The teams' championship could be wrapped up today if Pascal Wehrlein wins the race for Porsche, and if Nissan fail to score points during the race.

IS STRATEGY THE KEY FACTOR TO WINNING A FORMULA E RACE?
The last few races in Season 11 have shown that a good strategy is key. You may be wondering, isn’t this the case for most motorsport races? Technically, yes, but also no. In other forms of motorsport, like Formula 1, having the fastest car really is the key.
In Formula E, however, there are so many factors to contend with. During Pit Boost races, drivers must take a mandatory pit stop in order to gain more energy for the remainder of the race. Paired with Attack Mode, there is a lot to consider.
Monaco saw Oliver Rowland execute two days’ worth of amazing strategies that landed him two spots on the podium. In both races, he perfectly timed his Attack Mode to shoot up the grid order and score some big points for Nissan.
It was the same for Maximilian Guenther who paired his Pit Boost and Attack Mode harmoniously to land a win in Jeddah. The German driver was able to salvage his pole position after tumbling down the order with this strategy, and claim the victory.

NISSAN CONFIRM LINE-UP FOR NEXT SEASON
The potential championship-winning team has confirmed that Norman Nato will remain with the team next season, partnering the reigning champion Oliver Rowland. Nissan has done well to retain its line-up, especially in a time of uncertainty between camps.
After a shocking collision between the Porsche teammates in Berlin FP1, talk of Antonio Felix da Costa’s retirement rose once again. The Portuguese world champion has taken four race wins this season, but it doesn’t stop the press from speculating about his future.
Porsche were in talks with Rowland a few months back, but the Briton has re-signed with his team for 2026 after securing the title early in Berlin. The Porsche camp, however, is uncertain about its line-up for Season 12.
