Podcast: Monaco GP/Indy 500 special
ByAutoSport
The latest edition of The Autosport Podcast is split between the Indianapolis 500 and Formula 1's Monaco Grand Prix.
Edd Straw is joined by Lawrence Barretto, Glenn Freeman and Damien Smith to discuss Fernando Alonso's remarkable Month of May at Indy and the impact the Spaniard has had on the race.
There's also a look at Takuma Sato's victory, Helio Castroneves's push for a fourth win and Ed Jones's podium - as well as the debate over whether or not Alonso should have been awarded rookie of the year.
Ferrari's strategy is the main focus of discussion of the Monaco Grand Prix, with the decision to pit Kimi Raikkonen and then allow Sebastian Vettel to jump ahead by running longer provoking some interesting debate.
Lewis Hamilton's struggles are also looked into, as is the curious case of Jenson Button's F1 return.
The Autosport Podcast is available free to subscribe to via iTunes and all other major podcast suppliers.
