Join us on Saturday for final practice (9am UK time) and qualifying (1pm UK time). There will be no sessions on Friday.
Alonso will be buoyed by this session as he seeks to lead the fight to the Red Bulls and McLarens.
Hamilton's run is over, likewise Rosberg and the rest of the top nine. Alonso will top the timesheets.
Liuzzi won't set a time - the only one of the 24 drivers not to do so in this run-out.
Petrov has rear suspension damage too as he tours round to the garage.
Kovalainen makes a third trip to the Ste. Devote run-off as Petrov loses his Renault a little, catching the barrier and seeing his front wing go sliding off as a result.
Massa stalls the Ferrari. It happens to the best of us. He is sent back on his way by the team.
After some strong race pace work, Alonso nips in to get the super-softs on his Ferrari.
The HRTs are the only cars not on track as the clocks winds down. Alonso still leading the way.
The top 10: 1.Alonso 2.Hamilton 3.Rosberg 4.Button 5.Vettel 6.Massa 7.Schumacher 8.Webber 9.Sutil 10.Heidfeld
Webber remains eighth as he laps in the 1:19s again. The super-soft tyres holding up quite well.
Tonio Liuzzi the only driver not to set a time yet this afternoon.
Schumacher out, for a final run perhaps.
Vettel is fifth at the minute. He is clear in the championship.
More Massa shenanigans as he slides through Casino Square but again manages to catch the car.
Lewis second quickest, a tenth down on Alonso with 1:15.228. He was quickest in the first sector.
Hamilton fourth with 1:15.456 but backs off on his next lap.
Schumacher now sixth with 1:16.603 as Hamilton takes to the tarmac with his quick tyres.
McLaren are making some changes to Hamilton's car. Massa back on track.
Schumacher seventh on the softer rubber. Sutil now ninth.
