You can find the full line-up to the left but it is Hamilton who will lead us off with Vettel in hot pursuit tomorrow.
A stunning final run from Hamilton as he takes pole position from Vettel! Webber and Raikkonen make up the second row of the grid.

Vettel fastest in the first sector….

Here we go then, cars squeezing in one more lap…

Button doesn’t fancy it either, judging by his radio conversations…

Alonso comes out for his final spurt on medium tyres, apparently ceding the battle for pole to the Red Bulls, Lotus and Hamilton. Everyone’s on track for a thrilling finish…

Apparently this is set to be the quickest pole in Germany for quite some time. No wonder Rosbreg was caught out. New tyres on the Red Bulls…

Hamilton goes quickest with 1:29.540. He made up a lot of pace in the final sector in the Mercedes.

Hot laps coming up 1.29:970 from Raikkonen. Vettel just ahead with 1:29.622. Grosjean and Webber a bit off the pace.

Rosberg: “The team underestimated so it didn’t work out … Degradation wise it is better, race pace we are okay. From 11th? I will think about that tomorrow.”

Webber and Vettel also both out on brand new tyres. This could be pretty thrilling stuff.

Both the Ferraris are on used soft tyres. Massa is out on a very old set now. Raikkonen on fresh ones. He could be one to watch.
Q3
And Q3 is under way - a final 10-minute blast to sort out the front five rows of the grid.
A hot track meant faster times than expected but Mercedes got that horribly wrong. Massa first, then Raikkonen, Alonso, Vettel, Grosjean, Hamilton, Webber, Ricciardo, Hulkenberg, Button.
DRIVERS ELIMINATED: 11-Rosberg, 12-Di Resta, 13-Perez, 14-Gutierrez, 15-Sutil, 16-Vergne.
Three poles this season for Rosberg but he’s denied a pop at Q3 as he sits in the pits! What a terrible error. Massa went round quickest.

Raikkonen goes second fastest and that knocks Rosberg out of the top 10! Mercedes are in the garage - a horrible misjudgement.
