Quickest lap of the weekend from Hamilton. Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Button, Alonso and Rosberg. That is the top six from this session.

Webber with a 1:39.427, but that is only good enough for third spot. Hamilton fastest in this practice session.

Hamilton clocks 1.38.976, Button in third. Webber still to come in...

Hamilton being told he is the fastest car on the track at the moment. Button is 0.6 slower as he drops to fifth place.

Hamilton in with a 1:39.177 to go first ahead of Webber.

Alonso second, 0.250 slower than Webber. Vettel now only 0.063 seconds slower than his team-mate.

Webber with a lap of 1:39.668 to go fastest.

Massa, Sutil, Hamilton and Vettel also in the top five as we hit the final 10 minutes.

Rosberg then with a 1:40.135. A lot of changes at the top of the leaderboard.

Massa in with a 1.40.183 to edge ahead of Sutil in second as the pace suddenly starts to pick up.

Perez is now on soft tyres as is Maldonado. The engine cover is off Petrov's Renault - that won't help his mood.

Hamilton goes fastest with a run of 1:40.661 as we head for the final 20 minutes.

Vettel going fast through the middle section of the circuit, but is yet to get up to full speed elsewhere on the track. Vettel been out there for eight laps.

Vettel with a lap of 1.43.809. That will surely come down in the next 25 minutes.

Alonso and Vetttel pressing their claims at the moment on track. Webber clocks a 1.40.995. Button still leads this practice session.

Button only 0.193 seconds ahead of Hamilton at this moment.

Track temperature is 41 at the moment. A hot track and there is problems for Trulli in his Lotus. He has a gearbox issue, and will not be back out again in this session.

Button back in with the fastest lap of the morning on 1:40.993. Or afternoon if you are in Abu Dhabi.
