Thibaut Courtois wins World Cup Golden Glove
Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has won the Golden Glove award for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Courtois, 26, conceded six goals at Russia but regularly made crucial saves to keep his team in matches.
Going into the semi-finals the award appeared to be a straight shoot-out between the four remaining goalkeepers; Courtois, Danijel Subasic, Hugo Lloris and Jordan Pickford.
Whilst Subasic and Lloris both won their semi-final matches both players made errors in the final.
Courtois helped Belgium to third place, their best ever finish, and he had an error-three tournament.
