GOAL! Son comes from absolutely no where cutting through a cluster of the Mexico defence, curls right over the outstretched arm of Occhoa and sails into the bottom corner. Mexico 2-1 South Korea.

Five minutes of extra time to be played here with the Korean side expertly demonstrating why as they hack down yet another member of the opposition.

Son makes a last-ditch effort from outside the 18-yard box, which sails over the bar. There won't be many more opportunities now.

The Mexico defence are called into action again as the South Koreans exert some pressure a steal by Mexico sees a swift counter attack culminating in a high shot by Vela, curling back towards the goal but it's not quite there.

First card of the match is forKim Young-gwon for a foul on goals scorer Vela.
