Good evening and welcome to Eurosport's live coverage of the huge game between Italy and Sweden, which the Swedes begin 1-0 ahead on aggregate. Either Gian Piero Ventura will keep his job a little longer or Zlatan Ibrahomivic will (probably) end his exile from the international game, and in a three hours time we'll know which. Team news up next...

FT: Italy 0-0 Sweden (0-1 on aggregate). It was backs to the wall for Sweden, but they showed great organisation and to hold firm. As for Italy, they struggled to create chances of real quality and can't really have any complaints. They will probably complain about a lack of a penalty, but Sweden had very strong claims too. Russia will be the first World Cup in 60 years not to feature Italy.

Buffon up for another corner, the delivery is poor again and that will do it! It's all over and Italy are out!

Olsen booked in anticipation of him time-wasting, it seems.

Forsberg leads a Sweden breakaway and crosses to Berg, who rather than go for goal heads square for Thelin, but a defender reads it and is able to head clear.
79'
Belotti goes down very easily in the hope of winning a penalty, apparently unaware of the referee's unwillingness to give a spot kick tonight, and sure enough doesn't get one.
77'
Chiellini goes on a surging run down the left and sends in a great cross, which Svensson gets a slight touch on sending the ball to Florenzi, and the Roma man fires over.

Italy win a free-kick inside the Swedish half, which Florenzi whips into the box, but some shirt pulling means the chance is gone before the ball even arrives.
74'
Jorginho tries his luck from range and even gets the ball to bounce just before the goalkeeper, however Olsen is equal to it yet again.
