Juventus coach Fabio Capello has confirmed that Lilian Thuram will make his return to international football with France. The defender's comeback has been heavily suggested since Zinedine Zidane and Claude Makelele made the same move this week.

Thuram quit Les Bleus after the disastrous 1-0 defeat against Greece in the quarter finals of Euro 2004.
He is now expected to play in the friendly match against Ivory Coast on August 17.
"Lilian Thuram has been selected. We received a letter this morning regarding a call-up for the Montpellier game," said Capello.
But the tactician is not overjoyed by this prospect:
"It is very satisfying for the player himself but I fear that he could be over-used during the season," continued the Coach.
"I wouldn"t want the player, given his age and the amount of games he will play, to be affected physically in such a long campaign."
The 33 year-old is the France's second-most capped player having made 103 appearances, 13 behind record-holder Marcel Desailly.
He will joined in the French squad by his four teammates Jonathan Zebina, Patrick Vieira and David Trezeguet.
