Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses were within touching distance of being included in the draw, but missed out by the slimmest of margins despite a 6-0 thumping of Scotland. A late goal for the Netherlands in a 4-0 win over Belgium means it is the Dutch that are in contention to win the trophy, and also qualify for Paris 2024. The draw for the inaugural Women's Nations League finals has been confirmed, with France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain all battling it out to be the first winners of the competition.
There is plenty at stake besides the trophy itself, as the two finalists will join hosts France at the 2024 Olympics women's tournament in Paris.
Should France reach the Nations League final, then the third-placed team will also book their place at the Olympics.
England narrowly missed out on a place at the Nations League finals, despite thrashing Scotland 6-0 in their Group A1 fixture.
The Netherlands prevailed at their expense after scoring in stoppage time to beat Belgium 4-0 and seal top spot in the group.
All of the matches will be played as single-leg knockout fixtures, with no seedings applied to the draw.
The winners of the Spain v Netherlands semi-final will have home advantage in the final.
The draw is as follows:

Semi-finals - February 23

Spain v Netherlands
France v Germany

Final and third-place match - February 28

Spain/Netherlands v France/Germany
Meanwhile, there was still British interest in the Nations League draw, as Northern Ireland discovered their opponents in the League B/C play-off.
