The UEFA Nations League returned with a thrilling round of quarter-final clashes that saw four of Europe's best punch their ticket to the semi-finals this summer. An epic night of UEFA Nations League action saw 21 goals scored across four games in the competition's quarter-final second-leg matches on Sunday.
Four nations survived the chaos, three of which went through after extra time and two scraped through on penalties.
The competition then heads to Germany, where semi-finals take place in Munich and Stuttgart before returning to Munich for the final.

Who is playing in the Nations League finals?
France beat Croatia on penalties in their second leg, having won the individual tie 2-0 to draw 2-2 on aggregate. Dayot Upamecano scored the winning spot kick after his Bayern Munich team-mate Josip Stanisic missed for Croatia.
Holders Spain also beat the Netherlands on penalties after a thrilling 5-5 draw over two legs, with Barcelona's Pedri scoring the winning penalty.
Portugal roared back from a first-leg defeat to beat Denmark 5-3 on aggregate after Goncalo Ramos and Francisco Trincao struck in extra time.
Germany held off a stirring comeback to beat Italy 5-4 over two legs. The Italians scored three goals in the second half but an inspired performance from Joshua Kimmich in both ties saw the hosts through.

Where are the Nations League finals?
The UEFA Executive Committee dictated that the winners of the quarter-final between Italy and Germany would host the four-team final tournament.
Germany's quarter-final triumph means that designated stadiums in Munich and Stuttgart will stage the final games.

When are the Nations League finals fixtures?
France, Spain, Portugal and Germany are the four teams left in the Nations League and will face off in the finals in Germany this summer.
All kick-offs are 19:45 UK time unless stated otherwise.
