Enzo Maresca targeting 'complete performance' from Chelsea in UEFA Conference League semi-final second-leg clash v Djurgarden

Chelsea hold a commanding 4-1 aggregate lead heading into Thursday night's UEFA Conference League semi-final second leg against Djurgarden at Stamford Bridge. However, the Italian offered some words of caution for his squad as he remains firmly guarded against complacency. The Blues are within touching distance of claiming their place in the final, where they face either Real Betis or Fiorentina.

Enzo Maresca has urged his players not to drop their standards heading into Thursday night's UEFA Conference League semi-final second leg against Djurgarden – live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
The Blues hold a commanding 4-1 aggregate lead, but the Italian says his players cannot lose their intensity after a sluggish quarter-final second-leg performance against Legia Warszawa three weeks ago.
When asked about the need to maintain Chelsea's momentum, he replied: "Exactly. It's what we have to do. The second leg against Warsaw was not our best performance.
"We saw that we cannot drop, otherwise it's a risk, and hopefully we can make a complete performance."
Chelsea are widely expected to reach the final on May 28, but Maresca's answer when asked if he had one eye on Wroclaw was emphatic.
"No, it's one game," he explained.
"The target now is [to reach] the final, and then hopefully we can play the final and try to win the final."

The west Londoners come into this clash on a high after a 2-1 win over newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool on Sunday.
A goal from Enzo Fernandez, Jarell Quansah's own goal and Cole Palmer's penalty helped The Blues in their push for a top-five finish.
Maresca highlighted the importance of the fans that day, heading into their final two matches at Stamford Bridge this season.
"That day was very good, the environment was fantastic," he added. "The feeling from inside the pitch was not to play a game 11 v 11.
"It was a game with all the fans behind the team and a very nice feeling.
"They can help us. Unfortunately, we just have two more games at home, tomorrow and United.
"Then we have two Premier League games away and then hopefully we can play the final."
Thursday night’s other semi-final second leg sees Fiorentina host Real Betis, looking to overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit.
Manchester United loanee Antony scored a stunning second goal for the Spanish side on the night against former Red Devils team-mate David de Gea.
That match at the Artemio Franchi Stadium is live on TNT Sports 4 and discovery+.
